Why the Charity Commission’s Sentebale Case Could Take 10 Years!
In our latest video, Weezy dives into the developing story surrounding the Charity Commission’s ongoing investigation into Sentebale, the foundation Prince Harry co-founded to support youth living with HIV in Lesotho.
While the media’s been quiet, the Charity Commission confirmed it launched a regulatory compliance case on April 2, 2025. Contrary to online chatter, Prince Harry is not under investigation — the commission clarified that patrons do not carry the legal duties of trustees.
Meanwhile, Sophie, the new chair of Sentebale post-takeover, attempted to raise £7K/month for the charity. The public wasn’t having it. The campaign brought in only $271.97, compared to the $60,000+ raised by the Sussex Squad under Harry’s leadership.
Now, the Squad is considering legal action by reporting Sophie to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), citing breaches of the Code of Conduct and misuse of position.
